These exist in their millions in practically all tidal river stretches in Spain. You will spot them grazing the river bottoms from bridges any time of the day, but high tide will see most activity. You can fish for these quite literally anywhere, but the larger fish will be caught near effluent pipes entering the rivers. Float fished bread flake on light tackle is the best approach. Trot this down the swim for explosive action. Feed liquidised or mashed bread to keep the fish interested. Paternostered ragworm will also score.
